Yummy Box brings mouth-watering Asian street food to you

Yummy Box is one of the many new food vendors at ECC, bringing diverse menu selections to you. Find out below how Jack created the Yummy Box name, which dishes are the most popular, and what you could win!

“I have always loved working in the restaurant business, having previously owned 2 Asian themed restaurants. What I like about owning a food truck is that I can drive my truck to many diverse parts of the greater Seattle area, bringing my tasty dishes directly to people. Our name, Yummy Box, is about bringing the most popular and yummy Asian street food dishes served to you - in a box!

I use fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, and continue to explore and be creative with my Asian-based menu choices. The 4 most popular dishes are 1) spicy Indonesian Beef Rendang with sweet pineapple, 2) Vegetarian Japanese Vegetable Curry 3) Taiwan style slow-braised Pork Belly served over rice, and 4) Japanese Chicken Katsu burger with French fries. All Local, Simple and Delicious is our slogan!”

Jack and Yummy Box will be in the UW Main Plaza all three days during ECC with his most popular dishes, such as spicy Indonesian Beef Rendang with sweet pineapple, Vegetarian Japanese Vegetable Curry, Taiwan-style slow-braised Pork Belly over rice, and Japanese Chicken Katsu burger with fries. Also on the menu are Chicken or Vegetarian Fried Noodles, Orange Chicken Chop-Chop Salad, Beef Poutine, Ahi Tuna Poke, and some of the tastiest Popcorn Chicken we’ve ever had.
